Living Space

Atmosphere is so important to me. Having a comfortable and home-y living space just does something to my soul… I’m actually guilty of having had nightmares about coming to France and finding myself in an empty, white, scantily furnished place. Thankfully that didn’t happen! That would’ve been such a nightmare, I know. Heaven forbid I get the opportunity to live in France, and it’s ruined by an uninspiring living space.

That being said, the craving for my own personal “home” has been rumbling in me for a few months… I don’t know when I’ll be able to get there, but hopefully in the next few years I will have a space I can call mine (definitely not implying being a homeowner completely). Dreaming about this triggers inspiration in my heart, but it also stirs me towards a goal for the future. I don’t know where I’ll be or what I’ll be doing exactly in the coming years… but I’m crossing my fingers and toes I’ll live in my own little space.*  ACompleteLife Coatshomes DesignFiles DimplesTangles LampsPlus SizedLonny StyleatHome TheLifestyledBlog Transitoinical KathrynIreland

*it should be noted that most of these dreams concentrate on the kitchen part of my own space. You just can’t tear me and food apart.

In my spare time I like to dream on Pinterest like every other girl, I suppose. Except instead of the “one day” boards being about weddings it’s about my future living room. And having a pet dog(s)… sorrynotsorry!

If you like what you see, don’t forget you can follow my Home board on Pinterest :)

P.S. If you’re looking for some home inspiration (key: inspiration. I wouldn’t say it’s all affordable by any means) for yourself, check out Domaine. It’s Who What Wear’s website on the home and it’s fantastic. You even get to peak inside celebrities’ homes! … Not to mention Anna Kendrick is a fan.

Enjoy your Monday peeps!

Oh man – That last bathroom pic (with the minty-fresh tile!) is stunning… Such a dreamy space in a room that is normally a little neglected. I can see why you wanted to include! The colored tile would totally work for a kitchen backsplash, I would think!

Hi Jessie! Yes, I love the fresh feel of that bathroom, the mint is perfect for a back splash. I love a clean room with a pop of color! I would be interested to see what it would look like in the kitchen, too.
